Welcome to PickleballTournaments.com!
Since 2004 PickleballTournaments.com has been providing the software to run pickleball tournaments. Over the years, PickleballTournaments.com has evolved into a comprehensive system capable of handling small community tournaments up to the biggest tournaments like Nationals and The US OPEN. Feel free to browse through the hundreds of tournaments that are scheduled in the future. Use our new searching capabilities to find the perfect tournament for you. If you don't already have an account, go ahead and create one. This will enable you to register for all the tournaments that you want to play in. Playing in tournaments hosted on PickleballTournaments.com will automatically contribute to your ratings calculations for the USA Pickleball Tournament Pickleball Ratings (UTPRs).
New Website - New Features
In June of 2019 we launched an updated web site for PickleballTournaments.com. Based on player feedback we have added:
- An updated look and feel
- Cleaner listing of tournaments with significantly enhanced searching capabilities
- Easier registration system
- New Marketplace listings for clinics, tours, destinations and products and services.
The 2019 Minto US OPEN also saw the first introduction of an app for players to use on their phones. The app will be expanded and enhanced throughout 2019 and will become an important tool for pickleball tournament players.
A Word About Ratings
When you enter a tournament hosted on PickleballTournaments.com the rating used to enter the tournament will be determined by sanctioning for your particular tournament.
USA Pickleball Sanctioned Tournaments
- Entry into events is based on your 2-digit UTPR at the time of registration.
- If you don't have a UTPR for the event you are entering, one will be calculated for you based on other event UTPRs you may have, your legacy USA Pickleball event rating, or your skill level entered in PickleballTournaments.com.
Non-sanctioned Tournaments
(including Canadian sanctioned tournaments)- Entry into events is based on the skill level you enter in your PickleballTournaments.com account. There is one skill level for doubles and another for singles.
Other Notes
Other important points of interest for tournament players:
- You must have a current USA Pickleball membership number entered in your account to register for USA Pickleball sanctioned tournaments
- Tournaments may opt out of having tournament results used in UTPR calculations. If so, this is noted on the main tab of the tournament detail page.
- Tournaments now have the option of requiring payment at time of registration. Please be prepared to pay all your tournament fees at time of registration.
